We are dedicated to encouraging more females to get involved with the game – whether it’s as a player, a coach, an administrator, a referee or at the executive level.
Our key focus for the development of Women’s rugby in Australia through 2020, is to our Buildcorp Wallaroos. Through hard work and determination, they have secured an automatic qualification to the Women’s World Cup in 2021 and the Australian Rugby Foundation is dedicated to partnering with our donors and supporters to ensure their success on the world stage.
We know that delivering success on an international level stimulates immense Australian pride, increases awareness and investment and inspires the next generation of rugby enthusiasts.
It’s an incredibly exciting year ahead for our Wallaroos; they will play 7 Test matches in 2020 - the most ever in one year, with 6 on Australian soil against all top 5 teams in the World. Additionally, a full training camp for the Wallaroos extended squad will take place for the first time prior to Test matches, providing critical preparation opportunities leading up to the 2021 World Cup.
