What Do We Do?

The Australian Rugby Foundation’s aim is to better coordinate giving in the Rugby community and to raise funds in support of a range of areas, including Grassroots, Indigenous, Women’s Rugby and High Performance initiatives.

Working in partnership with Hearts in Union, the Foundation also has responsibility for supporting individuals who have suffered serious injuries playing Rugby and their families.

Our goal is simple:
CONNECTing RUGBY'S SUPPORTERS TO HELP build THE FUTURe OF OUR GAME.

The Australian Rugby Foundation will seize the advantage provided by our Game’s illustrious alumni and strong values along with the internationality of our sport to engage with our supporters at home and around the globe.

The Australian Rugby Foundation has partnered with the Australian Sports Foundation, Australia’s leading sports fundraising organisation.

As a result, all donations made to the Australian Rugby Foundation are tax deductible.

The programs and activities we can support cover the areas of:

  • Grassroots participation
  • Women in Rugby
  • Indigenous Rugby development, including scholarships
  • High Performance Rugby, in particular, elite junior development
  • Player Welfare

Donors can determine where their contributions will be directed across Rugby.

The Australian Rugby Foundation is also publicly running a number of targeted campaigns in areas that we have identified as being crucial to the future of the Game.
