Learn about the the Foundation
The Australian Rugby Foundation (or commonly know as the ARF) was established in 2014 as the sport’s national fundraising body, driving greater investment in our game.
We work at the very heart of Rugby in Australia and are passionate about ensuring that the next generation of young Australians, regardless of their circumstance or background, can benefit from the transformative experience of a life-long association with Rugby.
Simply, we are connecting Rugby’s supporters around the world to help secure the future of our game – from the grassroots to the national jersey within our 5 strategic pillars:
- Community Rugby
- Women's Rugby
- Indigenous Rugby
- High Performance (player Development & Retention)
- Player Welfare
The ARF generates funds through:
- Philanthropic giving (providing tax deductibility via our fundraising partner the Australian Sports Foundation)
- Domestic and International events which increase engagement throughout the Rugby community
- Campaign specific fundraising
